"Happy Happy Birthday Rhenley Dear...

...Happy days will come to you all year, if I had a wish then it would be a Happy Happy Birthday to you from me":)

Rhenley turned 6 this year, I can't believe how fast time flies, and how big my baby is getting. She is such a sweetheart, very fun, smart, loves to learn, has the best laugh, is a big helper (loves to help in the kitchen), and is so loving to her family, she is the best big sister (Jodee & Jayda just adore her:)

This year it was such a nice day on Rhen's birthday, we made a day of it at the park. We invited a few of Rhen's friends, got a Large pizza from Pizza Hut, and just hung out at the park for a few hours.

--The crazy kids: Nathan, Payden, Kellen, Rhenley, Ceriese, & Carys:)

--Rhen & Kellen "Love Bug" & "Lucky & Charming"
--All the kids made it to the top of the rock wall, they needed a little help, but for the most part they did a great job getting up on their own:)

Thanks to Rhenley's friends for coming and celebrating her special day with us, what a great group of kids. Rhenley also got some unexpected presents... she was super excited about her new Barbie and Gator Golf:)

After the park, and then dinner at Arby's, we went to Chuck E. Cheese's for her party with my family... stay tuned for Chuck E pictures:)

Born: March 13th @ 3:12am...

My brother Daren, and his wife, April, had their first baby on March 13th.

Aiden Robert came into the world bright and early, weighing in at 6lbs. 10oz, tiny little head, long feet, a cute dimple in his chin...and perfect in every way.:)

The girls couldn't get enough of him... Rhenley didn't want to take turns holding Aiden, she probably would have held him the entire time we visited him in the hospital... but I wanted a turn too:)

Congratulations Daren & April, Aiden is just precious, we're so glad you live close so we can enjoy our new little nephew/cousin:)

Dr. Seuss Breakfast

Rhenley's Elementary school had a Green Eggs & Ham breakfast a few weeks ago (on Dr. Seuss's Birthday). It was quite the event, thankfully we got there before the crowd:) Hundreds of kids and their parents showed up for breakfast, they started serving just 45mins before school started, and weren't done serving when the bell rang for school to start, it was madness.

Rhenley dressed up like the cat in the hat, and was so excited that her friend Mason did too:) (She was worried she'd be the only one dressing up)

Rhenley's first bite of green eggs... Mmmmmmmm:)

Oh Mr. Sun, We Love You!

--Everyone was happy about the Sunshiny Day:) (My sweet Rhenster turns 6 in a little over a week...she is such a great kid:)

We have had great weather the last few weeks. There is still a slight chill in the air, but we have certainly been blessed by the reappearance of Mr. Sun, he's been gone for too long:) We went to the park several times in one week... This particular day it was almost warm outside. We decided to go to the playground of dreams, as well as take the kiddos to the duck pond that's near the park. My little sister, Kyra and her family were in town for the weekend, so we took Grandma Nea, and all the kids and went to the park.

--There were so many birds at the pond, the kids were thrilled to have so many to feed:)

I had an entire grocery sack full of bread crusts (thanks to my sister-in-law, April's baby shower, we made egg salad sandwiches, we used 3 loaves of bread, and cut all the crusts off the bread), plus I had some old hot dog buns to feed the ducks & geese with. Believe it or not, the bread only lasted for maybe 7mins. I guess for 3 adults, and 5 kids, we need 2 bags of bread crumbs:)

The playground of dreams is a pretty fun park for kids, but it's almost too big, and there are always too many people... too many older kids (11-16years old), it was super annoying to have kids skateboarding down slides that your kids are trying to go down. (I actually, very nicely told the kids that the toys weren't meant for skateboards and they should probably take their skateboards over to the skate park... sidenote: the skate park is just across the parking lot from the playground) Good Times!

--Jodee & Jayda were quite the little posers, I didn't even have to tell them to pose for pictures... they'd say, "Mom, look at us, take our picture.":)
--Rhenley was so good at the monkey bars... she defnitely put her mommy to shame... I haven't been able to do the monkey bars since grade school... so sad:(

--This picture was fun to take, I was laying down, looking up into the tube, all the kids looked down at me, and I took the picture... turned out pretty cute:) (We then tried to reenact the same picture, but couldn't get the lighting right, then tons of other kids would poke their heads in while we were shooting... man times like these I wish I had a rapid shot setting on my camera:)lol FIASCO!:)

Thank you Mr. Sun for entertaining us today, we love to see your bright, smiling face:)

52 Reasons I Love You...

This year for Valentine's Day I wanted to do something different for my hubby. I got a great idea from my sister Kyra. There are 52 cards in a deck of cards, you make the deck into a book, and on each card you put something that you love about that person... This was so fun for me, I love my honey very much, it was so easy to think of things that I love about him, I was so excited and giddy while making the book, and even more giddy when I gave it to him:)
--Happy Valentine's Day Honey, I Love You!:)

Here are just a few of my favorite ones:

--I love that you'll play games with me
--We don't fight over the remote (we love the same shows)
--Clean Shaven (When your face is clean shaven, so touchable)
--The Sound of Your Voice
--Super Dad, Family, Church, Work, School (My man can do it all:)
--The way you kiss (This picture is from our wedding, put onto a picture of the princess bride end scene..."Since the invention of the kiss there have only been five kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind.")
Happy Valentine's Day Honey, I Love You, I Love everything about you! Thank you for loving me:)

I Love You... not just today... but Every Day...

I love Valentine's Day, it's just one day a year where we go above and beyond to let those people that we love the most, know that we love them:) We had a really great Valentine's weekend, Lucas & I went to the temple on Friday, went out to dinner & shopping on Saturday, and then Sunday was spent with our family... We love our families (both sides:) so much, and feel very blessed, and often times, down-right spoiled to live so close to them:)
--Valentine's Day morning...We love our little girls, they bring out the best in us:)
--The girls each got some candy, a valentine book, and Bebechichi's (if you haven't heard, or don't remember Monchichis... they were these cute little monkeys from the 1980's... I found these cute babies at Safeway, just a fluke:) They were a big hit, the girls loved them:)

My sweet hubby got me my favorite lotion, and Season 4 of SuperNatural:)

Grandma Nea brought homemade sugar cookies, and treats for us on Saturday night, and Grandma Jiggy (Luke's mom) brought goodies for us on Sunday... We were definitely spoiled, WE LOVE YOU ALL!:)

Pizza Face...

The girls were being silly the other night, I guess pizza makes people act crazy:)

--I love these silly girls:)
