A Gamer in the making...

Lucas got up from his gamer chair and this is what happened...

Dayna ran over, put on Luke's headphones, grabbed the controller, and sat down in the chair...
She thought she was pretty funny:)

Liberty Lake Yard Sales...

The end of June we went to Spokane to visit my sister Kyra and her family (Leslie and her girls came from Pullman, Grandma Nea & Grandpa Bob came too:)
We went mainly for some serious yard sales...

IT RAINED!!:( AND RAINED, AND RAINED, and RAINED... but the yard sales went on... over 150 yard sales, tons of hardcore yard salers, it was MADNESS... we loved every minute of it!:)

We took Dayna & Ashlynn with us, they were troopers... (Luke, Jake and Grandpa kept the other kids busy back at the house:)
This is Leslie being "miserable", it was cold & wet (she wore flip-flops)
need I say more...

The girls with their treasures... we didn't find too many things, but the things we did find, were fun... my steal for the day... The Sound of Music Soundtrack & Saturday's Warrior Soundtrack (got both for $1:)

Looking forward to next year... praying for Sunshine!:)

Bye-bye baby teeth...

Jayda lost her 1st tooth in June, and then her 2nd tooth a few weeks later...

Such a fun milestone, super happy it's out (Jayda pulled it herself) the ToothFairy gave her $1, she was so thrilled to join the losing teeth club!:)

Just a cute picture of my twinners:) 5 years old, starting Kindergarten in the Fall, and growing too fast:)

BINGO, Baths, Cousins, Trampoline...

In June some time, the girls, grandma Nea and I headed to Pullman to visit my sister Leslie, and her girls for the weekend. (My sister Kyra and her 3 kids came from Spokane to play too:))

One evening we played BINGO...

Jodee won the BLACK OUT prize!:)

Dayna had such a fun time with her cousin Ashlynn (Kyra's little girl, she's 3 months younger than Dayna) They were best buds while we were together, it was so fun to watch them play, and hug (not on command:))

Leslie got a trampoline for $40 on Craigslist... we helped her put it together... SUCCESSFULLY, I might add:) (THank Goodness for Kyra, that's all I have to say:)

I love my sisters, we have such a fun time together, lots of laughs... it's so fun to have kids that are close to the same age, making lots of memories together, LOVE it!

Hey Mom, come in here...

where's Jodee? Me: I don't know, where is she? Jayda: "Smiles" and looks at the box she's standing with. I walked over to the box, and was surprised to find Jodee inside, it was a pretty thin box, we all got a good laugh out of the box adventure:)

Where's Jodee?

Bahahahahaha! How did you fit in there, silly girl?:)

Dayna thought it was pretty funny to find Jodee in the box, she wanted to get inside too:)

Happy Mother's Day...

To Me...:) (I'm pretty lucky, my birthday & Mother's day are right on top of each other, it's fun to be spoiled:)

My cute flowers, made by Luke & the girls

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my family!

My creative hubby got this for me (he knows what I like:)

Happy Birthday...

To me! :)

You got me a what? Seriously, is this really what it is? No Way! (How did you buy this?) Oh my gosh!!! (These were a few of the phrases that I said upon opening my birthday present from Luke & the girls:) Needless to say, I was SHOCKED!!

I do love my iPad!:)

Principal for half a day...

Rhen's school had a carnival in April... they had a silent auction, one of the items was Jason Lee Elementary gear: water bottle, tshirts, banner, keychains, cougar stuffed animal, and Principal for half a day... Rhen informed me that I would be the best mom ever if I won the package for her... How could I not win it for her after a comment like that...:)
I won, and Rhen was Principal for half a day near the end of May...

Rhen, with the coolest Principal ever, Mr. Jisa... (He bought Rhen lunch from Taco Bell, and even got her a Fruitista Freeze, she thought that was pretty cool:)

Rhen got to sit at the prinicpal's desk, send an email to the staff, "play on the phone", help with announcements over the intercom, get snacks ready for students that were MSP testing, and walk around to classrooms... she LOVED it!

Thank a Teacher

Here are a few things I made for Rhen's teacher (teacher appreciation week in May), I love how they turned out...

(The pens are cheap black pens with scrapbook paper rolled up inside, super simple and cute)

Pull tab gift (open can from bottom, fill with whatever (we filled with gummy worms), close/hot glue lid back on) to open they pull the tab... super fun idea for a kids birthday or adult gift, would be fun to put a gift card in or something:)

(Thank you Pinterest for the ideas...:)

Crestview Ward Carnvial

In May we had a carnival at our church...

The theme was: "Walking in His Footsteps"...

Pin the tie on the missionary

CTR lollipop tree

At each game the kids earned a foot to put on their necklace, to remind them to walk in the Lord's footsteps... so fun for the kids!

Even the adults got in on the action, it was a really fun night and really well attended!

Dayna- 18months old

This little girl keeps me on my toes! She is so silly... Dayna's latest trick, she sings Justin Bieber's "Baby", "Baby, Baby, Baby, Ooooh" so darn cute!!!

Time Out for Women

At the end of April my mom, sisters, mom-in-law, and sister-in-laws went to Time Out for Women in Spokane. We had a great time, and were spiritually fed! John Bytheway, and Kris Belcher were my favorite speakers, while Hilary Weeks and Dallyn Bayles performed some truly inspiring musical numbers.

Several friends were at TOFW as well... sure do love these ladies!

Sassy J...

"Mom, I don't think I'd like to be a spoon... they have to be put in hot stuff"
(Jayda's comment while helping me with dinner one night:)

Me: "Oh Jayda, you're such a little bag lady"
Jayda: "No mom, I'm a hoarder" :) LOL

This girl is pretty darn funny, she makes me laugh on a daily basis... so funny!
