Just like Dad!

Jodee loves her Daddy-O! The other evening, Lucas asked Jodee to get his PJ pants for him... she went upstairs and on her way down the stairs we could hear her giggling... she had put Luke's pants on, and thought she was pretty funny. We all thought she was pretty darn funny too:) She is such a silly girl! We love our Jodee girl:)

C.A.R.E.S, Awards Assembly

Last month, Rhenley received an award at her school, for showing RESPECT in her class. We were so Proud of her and her efforts to be a good person, a good friend, and a good student!

We are so blessed! Dayna is the sweetest, mild-tempered baby. She loves to cuddle, eats and sleeps like a champ, and really only cries when hungry (actually she gives me a few cries to warn me:)

Dayna Christine Stevens

Dayna was born on Friday December 31st @ 10:10am. I had been at 5cm for over a week, we were so thrilled when she finally decided to join our family:) (Just in time for the tax break) My water broke at 4:30am, we got to the hospital around 5:15am, nothing major for several hours, I got to a 7 pretty easily... the last 3cm however were pretty painful. I had lots of back labor, but was able to have a vaginal birth, with 2 doses of a narcotic (that didn't really take the edge off:( I pushed 4 times, and out she came. I had the best support team: My hubby Lucas, (I'm sure Lucas thought he was going to lose his hand, I was squeezing him pretty hard:) My mom, Lucas' Mom, and my sister Kyra. (Yes, it was a full house, but I didn't care:) I loved my nurses as well (a little chatty, but helpful and sweet:)




The Name: Dayna= Bright, gift of god (we've seen a few different meanings in a few different baby name books) We chose this name because we both liked it, it's not too common, it's pretty, ALL the girls liked it, and when we decided on her name, with the right middle name, she went crazy in my stomach (I even had several contractions:)

Christine= follower of Christ, such a beautiful name, and very fitting for her being born around Christmas

We love our new little bundle of Joy, can't get enough of this little girl!
