Happy Valentine's Day!

I Love Valentine's Day, it's a day set aside to show those we love, how much we really love them. I did a Valentine Week for my honey this year. Starting the Monday before Valentine's Day, I put a card and a little treat in his jeep. Each day I put a card, cd, treat, game, some treat to let him know I love him, and was thinking of him. It was really fun for me, Lucas enjoyed the surprises as well. I'm going to do better at telling & showing my family and friends on a daily basis how much I love them. I enjoy making and doing things for people... I don't have to wait for a holiday, I'm going to do it whenever I feel the need to share the love.

Valentine's Day Morning the girls, & Luke woke to the table filled with goodies:)



Lucas gave me 7 beautiful roses for our 7 years together, and a very cute balloon:)

Valentine's Day was extra special this year because my brother Daren got married. I will have a separate post for that Blessed event when I get some good pictures. Congrats Daren & April, we're soooo happy for you!

Dinner Time Entertainment

I felt bad for laughing, but it was such a funny ordeal.:) The twins were hungry, but they were also soooo tired. (This is what happens when the girls don't get a nap:) Jodee & Jayda wanted to eat, but they wanted to sleep as well... we laughed, took pictures, and video, it was the entertainment for the evening. (I did wash them up and put them to bed after a few minutes of laughter) I'll post the video once I can figure out how to upload it, it's hysterical.



Another funny thing about dinner, Jodee & Jayda have very different personalities, Jodee is pretty laid back, while Jayda is a little more feisty. Here is evidence of just how different they are... Jodee liked the beans, while Jayda liked the meat.

Stevens Family Birthday Party.... January Birthdays

So Lucas' family this year decided to have one big party for all family members who have birthdays in January. Jodee, Jayda, Elliott (our nephew), Kory (Lucas' brother), and Ray (Luke's Dad) all have January birthdays. Megan & Robbie's house was the chosen location for the big to do. (They have the biggest house:) We ate everyone's favorite foods: Jodee & Jayda: Chicken nuggets, Elliott: Macaroni & Cheese, Kory: Pizza, Ray: some kind of "bloody meat".



Ray isn't a fan of snakes...we got him an awesome snake game called "Hissss":) He loved it as you can see!:) Our girls aren't big fans of dogs, so grandma & grandpa got them the biggest dog they could find:)

We had good food, and good fun... we just might make this a tradition.:)
