Oh the Joys of Teething...
So Jodee's first tooth finally came two days ago, and Jayda's first tooth appeared last night:) One down, too many to go:) Although we are thrilled the babies are getting teeth, gosh it's such an annoying and painful process. Drool, Drool, Drool, Tylenol, Tylenol, Tylenol, Chew toys, Chew toys, Chew toys, Fussy Babies, Fussy Babies, Fussy Babies:) I'm very thankful for Tylenol and Orajel (I never really liked Orajel, but it worked wonders last night:) Rhenley is so excited, she thinks now that they have a tooth they can eat what we eat. She wanted to feed Jodee a cracker yesterday. (It was cute) The whole process really is quite amazing, no tooth today, lots of teeth tomorrow...they really do just appear:)
Anyway, just wanted to share our teething adventures thus far...I'll post picts when you can see the teeth better:)

Country Merchantile Pumpkin Patch
Rhenley, Grandpa & Grandma Manis, Auntie Kyra, cousin Brenden and I went to the Country Merchantile Pumpkin Patch last week. We had a good time, they had a little petting zoo, a tractor ride to pick your pumpkins, a corn maze, and hay bale maze.
Good, clean fun:)

Summer 2007
We had a very busy summer this year: My sister Leslie, her two daughters: Kendall (3) & Peyton (1), moved from California to live with my parents while Leslie's hubby Matt was in Iraq (Navy). Rhenley & Kendall became best buds while they were here, I loved having my sister around as well. They moved back to California at the end of September:( (Matt returned home October 2nd, all is well) We went to Alberta, Canada in May for my cousin Carlie's wedding. (The Cardston, Alberta Temple was amazing) Lucas & I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary on July11th (we went to Seattle for a few days, did a little site seeing and took in a Mariners game:) July 27th Lucas' sister Tessa got married in the Columbia River Washington Temple (it's great having a temple just 10 minutes away:) The Benton Franklin County Fair was in August, and was so fun this year, Rhenley was old enough to ride some little roller coasters, she had a blast:) We went Geo-caching quite a few times this summer, (stay tuned for more on this modern day treasure hunting:) My baby sister Kyra, got married September 21st in the temple here as well. Kyra, her hubby Jake, and Jake's 2 year old little boy, Brenden, are currently living with my parents until they find a place:) My poor parents...just when they think the house is going to be semi-quiet:) Gosh, so I think that's the summer in a nutshell:) We also went swimming a lot (my parents are members of a swim club):) We also went to the park a few times a week, the girls loved being outside:) Summer Fun must end...I love the change in seasons...my favorite times are spring changing to summer, and summer changing to fall...

An Inside Look...Twins
I found this fabulous sculpture at our county fair's "pro-life" booth this summer, I thought it was great, multiple births really are a miracle.

That Was Then...

I thought I would start at the beginning:
Lucas was my first date when I turned 16. We were friends through high school, and remained in touch through college and a mission (I went to Ricks, class of 2001, & Lucas served in the Manchester, England Mission, returned home in 2001.) We started dating in December of 2001, were engaged in April 2002 and were married on July 11, 2002. (We share an anniversary with 7-11, we get a slurpee every year:) This picture was 5 years ago, wow time flies when you're having fun:)
