Kids Say the Darnest Things...#1

The girls were coming upstairs after playing in the basement. Jayda walked in the living room, followed by Jodee, then a few minutes later Rhenley entered the living room saying,

"Geeze, Jodee is poopy, I could smell her like a thousand miles away!"

Lucas and I laughed, and then changed the Big Stinker:)

(My girls are always saying funny things, I got this idea from another blog, and loved it, so I'm going to try to post as the funny statements come:)

Giddy-Up...

My Aunt Carol & Uncle Reed (my mom's brother) live in Zillah, WA. (Only about 40mins from us:) They have 4 horses (Jake, Boone, Lil Girl, and Cinch.) We thought it would be fun to take the girls and go ride horses. (This was the girls first time riding horses:) My Mom, niece Kendall, my friend Kristen and her kids came too. (Avery, Carys, Jocelyn, & Eben)

This is Cinch, the newest addition to the farm. (She was neglected by her previous owner, but is on the mend:) Cinch is also going to have a baby, you could feel and see the baby kicking in her stomach, it was really neat.

This is Jake, he was such a fun horse to ride, the girls had a good time and didn't want to leave.:)

Jodee & Jayda weren't too excited about the horses. They cried, and clung to Me, Grandma Nea, Aunt Carol, or Kristen most the time we were there. (Jodee got on the horse just long enough to take a picture:)

Water Fun...

My nephew Ethan's bday party was at the playground of dreams. Rhenley, her cousins Kiley & Kendall spent most of their time at the water fixtures.

They are quite the trio... here is a cute picture... they weren't posing though... they were peeing... I was so Proud:) (Rhen, Kendall, Kiley)

Here are classic pictures of Ethan opening presents... he was NOT a happy camper at his party... Happy Birthday Ethan!:)

(This was my favorite picture, he was so happy with getting "UnderDog" the movie, can't you tell:)

Palouse Falls State Park Adventure...

Last Saturday we took a trip to Palouse Falls (about 80miles from us:) It's a large 200ft. waterfall in the middle of the desert:)
We spent several hours hiking around, eating lunch, taking pictures, watching bugs and marmots (large ground squirrels:). The girls had such a great time playing with their cousins and grandparents, and they thought the marmots were so fun to chase around.

Who went: Grandma Nea, Grandpa Bob, Uncle Matt, Aunt Leslie, Cousins: Kendall & Peyton.

(The orange speck is Lucas sitting on a rock on the bank of the river. The Pasty-white and blue speck is Matt walking throught the river:)
(Luke & Matt hiked to the bottom of the canyon just for kicks and giggles, just to say they did it!:)

The posted signs kept me from climbing down to the river.:)

The girls love their Grandma Nea! They had fun hiking with her and looking for bugs:)

(These are Marmots. They were so cute and fun to watch. There were dozens of them, all over the park)

Sprinkler Fun with The Moses Clan...

Our friends the Moses' (Aaron, Kristen, Avery, Carys, Jocelynn, & Eben) live down the street from us (we live on a short street, it's only 3 houses long, so really, there is only one house between our houses:) Anyway, we have become the best of friends the last 6 months or so, they are some of the funniest, most giving people you'll ever meet. We enjoy getting together, (and do get together just about every day:) On this particular occasion, Kristen and the kids came to our house, we got some new toys for the yard from my sister-in-law. I was hosing the toys down and began spraying the kiddos with water, the next thing ya know, they all have their swimsuits on and they're running through the sprinkler... good friends, good fun!

(This is Kristen... she's a riot:) Thanks for being my friend! (Not the best picture of me, but oh, well!:)

Our First Taste of Summer...

(This picture is before we went swimming, Jodee wanted Shrek, Jayda wanted the car, and Rhenley had her smiles floaty...)
We went swimming for the first time this summer last week. My parents are members of Jason Lee Swim Club here in Richland, so we get to go swimming often. Only the coolest of the cool are members of this pool:)

(Once in the water, Jayda didn't like the car, and Jodee didn't like Shrek, so they switched... what silly girls!)
The girls were very excited to go swimming, Jodee turned out to be my little mermaid, she loved being in the water, splashing around, wanted to be left alone to swim (she almost drowned trying to be too daring and walking around the little pool on her own, crazy girl)
Rhenley has always liked to swim, she felt very "BIG" in her smiley face floaty this year! Jayda did fine in the pool after a little coaxing. She liked being held for the most part, didn't want anything to do with the car floaty, but did like swimming with Shrek.

We are looking forward to many more sunny-swimming days:)

Jodee & Jayda

Jodee & Jayda looked so sweet a few Sundays ago, I had to take pictures.

Jayda loves getting her picture taken, she always says, "Cheeze":)

Jodee likes getting her picture taken too... just not this day:) Classic crying picture...

Here's the best picts of Jodee, after the crying escapade:)

I love having little girls! I love doing there hair, dressing them up, painting their nails & toe nails. My girls are very girly, they love getting dressed, love having their hair fixed, love wearing nail polish, playing with makeup, and jewelry.
I don't know what I would do with a boy?:) Boys are so NO maintenance:)
