Our Little Miss- 8 months old

Time just seems to fly by these days... Dayna is now 8 months old, she is eating more solid food, has 2 teeth, is full on crawling, pulling herself up on things, standing alone for periods of time (Funny thing she started doing...I'll sit her down and go to take her picture, and she immediately starts crawling towards me, all smiles... it's a little frustrating, couldn't get a decent picture during this photo shoot:) (Picture #2 is her latest trick, "Look mom, No Hands!":)


Dayna is a little ball of smiles, giggles, and energy, she always wants to be where we are, if she's alone in the living room, she'll come find me... sometimes I am so overwhelmed with how much I love this little girl. Dayna is such a happy baby (and maybe it's because my child bearing years are coming to an end), I just love holding her, playing with her, watching her, way more then I did with the other girls when they were babies. It's funny how each child is different, I was in very different situations with each... Rhenley was a daycare baby til she was almost 3 years old, so I didn't get much time with her when she was an infant/toddler. Jodee & Jayda were TWINS... enough said:) Being a mother is such a wonderful calling, I'm so thankful to my Heavenly Father for giving me the chance to be a mother, and raising some of his choice daughters.

We have been very blessed with our girls and their sweet spirits, Love them bunches!

Jump, Jump, Jump-a-roo

We got our Jump-a-roo when Rhenley was a baby... she used it just a little bit,
When Jodee & Jayda were ready for the Jump-a-roo, they didn't really like it that much, they jumped a little, but then wanted out...



The first time we put Dayna in the Jump-a-roo, she jumped, and jumped, and jumped, she giggled, laughed, and spent probably 30mins in the thing, and ultimately after all her jumping, put herself to sleep.
She really, really, loves her Jump-a-roo, and exercises several times a day:)

WARNING: DON'T FEED THE ANIMAL!

Dayna LOVES to eat, and usually does really well keeping her hands down and out of her mouth...
This particular feeding she was CRAZY... she wouldn't stop spitting, touching her mouth, rubbing her face... it was such a mess
...all the girls got a good laugh watching Dayna make a mess... instead of getting frustrated with the madness, I started taking pictures...

She really is a silly little girl, can't help but smile and kiss her cheeks:)

Back to School BINGO

My friend Jennifer and I took the girls to Back to School BINGO at a local store a few weeks ago... we didn't win the grand prize, but each girl did win something... pencil, eraser, bookmark, mini-paints:)


Jodee was the big winner, she ended up with 5 BINGOS, and 5 prizes:) (She would have won the blackout too, but some girl showed up late, and they let her mom stand by the caller and fill in her card... I was a little annoyed... part of the difficulty of BINGO is listening and if you miss a number, you're out of luck... should have showed up on time! Jennifer and I thought it was crap that she showed up like 20mins late, and ended up winning... pffffttt:) (I still get annoyed when I think about it:)

Anyway, the girls had a good time, and got some "Back to School" goodies:)

Dayna-Bayna 7 months old...

Dayna was 7 months old at the end of July, she loves her Jump-a-roo, cords, and being silly... she is such a happy girl, we just love watching her grow!




Just can't get enough of her smiles and giggles!

Murder Mystery Party...

 

We went as Penelope "Penny" Loafer, and Cal Q. Layder... we had such a good time! (Lucas ended up being the murderer, he was so proud:)

Family Camping @ Emigrant Springs

Good Times camping with Lucas' family... we love that Emigrant Springs has become our family camping spot, we always have such an adventure!

This was Dayna's first camping trip, and she had a blast!






Grandma Jiggy had some silly games to play with tennis balls in nylons... So much fun, so many laughs!:)

It was so fun to watch Dayna in the swing, she was having the best time, lots of smiles and giggles... Love this little girl!

How we spent The 4th of July...

 

Jodee the Fearless!

Jodee loves swimming, and has always been fearless... this year she has been super confident in her abilities and started doing cannonballs...

Swimming, swimming, and more swimming...

We bought my parents membership this year to one of the private pool clubs in our area. The girls were so excited to be able to go swimming whenever we wanted to. We did swim lessons for 4 weeks, and doing so has helped my girls be more confident in the water. (Jayda is still a little cautious, while Jodee & Rhenley are little fish:) Rhenley now swims the crawl stroke, breast stroke, and can dive off the diving board, so PROUD of this girl, she worked really hard this summer to become a better swimmer!

Dayna loved being at the pool too... The summer has just flown by, we have been very thankful for fun times at the pool!
