Happy Holidays! (Just a quick post...I was thinking...:)

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and will have a safe and Happy New Year!!
We were very blessed this last year, the birth of the twins started off the year with a BANG!:) We have been going non stop ever since...We have been busy, but blessed! The year was filled with joy as well as some sorrow. My dad's mom (Grandmas Manis), passed away on January 17th (had been battling cancer for years:(, and then the twins were born on January 21st. The Lord works in ways that we may never understand, but I know that our Heavenly Father knows each of us, he loves us, and wants us to be happy. It really was a good year for us, we grew spiritually, individually and as a couple. We were able to attend the temple at least once a month (we have a goal to attend more often this next year! There is no excuse, the temple is too close not to attend.) I know that life is precious, and priceless, life is a gift! We hope that each of you may find much happiness this next year. Lots of Love!!!

Christmas Fun (better late than never:)

Christmas morning is so fun when you have little kids. Rhenley was very excited for Christmas...she's been waiting for Christmas Eve & Christmas morning since Halloween:) She was very pleased to get her "Baby Alive", and thanked Santa in her prayers for bringing her a "real" dolly. (For those of you who don't know what "Baby Alive" is, she is a doll that moves, cries, coos, laughs, drinks her bottle, and wets her diaper:) Rhenley is such a little mommy. Christmas morning for the twins was funny, they didn't really know what was going on. They loved the bows on the packages, and liked tearing the wrapping paper. They didn't really care about their toys, so Rhenley made sure their toys were playable.
Christmas morning was spent at home. Then we went to Grandma & Grandpa Stevens for breakfast (Grandpa's famous egg gravy), and the opening of more presents. After the Stevens we ran over to my parents for a few hours: we had lunch and opened more presents. (Christmas day is always very busy, but we love being with our families, we were very spoiled this year:)
