Lucas and his best friend, Andrew, both turned 30 in November. Andrew's wife, Mary, and I thought it would be fun to have a combined surprise party. We had it at Chuck E. Cheese... Lucas thought the party was for Andrew and Andrew thought the party was for Lucas, it was so fun, and they were both very surprised:) YEA!! Most of our families were able to come too, which made it even better.
--Nice smiles boys!:) They were both really happy and surprised!
--I bought Andrew's cake, and Mary bought Lucas' cake, YUMMY!:)
--Lucas got some nice gifts for his birthday, but his favorite gift was from his silly little sister, Erikka. He's always joked about the Snuggie, so she got him one:) I love his embarrassed silly smile:)
--Brave little Jayda was the only one who would get near Chuck E. Cheese, Rhenley and Jodee didn't want anything to do with him:)
Happy Birthday Honey, we hope you had a Great Day! We LOve YoU!:)

I would love a crimper:)

One Saturday night I thought it would be fun to braid the girls hair so it would be cute and crimpy for church the next morning:)
Jodee and Jayda actually sat and let me braid their hair, it was a little hard, especially with Jodee's hair, her hair is pretty thin:) I would love to invest in a crimper for the girls, their hair would be so cute crimped:)
Jodee, Rhenley and Jayda, all ready for church, with crimped hair:)

Crazy Hair Day...

Rhen's elementary school has Spirit Days, once a month I believe, maybe twice a month. Anyway, they had Crazy Hair Day in October or November, and Rhen was all about it.
This was the best hair-do I could come up with... she thought it was great!:) Next time, I'm going to go more Crazy... you should have seen her teacher... several colors, all spiked up, cute little bows in it too, it was a lot of fun to see all the hairstyles when I picked Rhenley up:)

Rockin' the Shades...

--Jayda & Jodee "Their future's so bright, they've got to wear shades":)
These high quality, 80's sunglasses were given to me at a Relief Society meeting about having an Attitude of Gratitude, (I can't think of the cute saying that went with the glasses... something about "seeing" with a thankful heart, it's been too long:) (Several women gave me their sunglasses, knowing I had little girls that would love them:) Anyway, the next morning, the girls were so excited about their sunglasses, they wore them most of the morning around the house... I had to put my foot down though when they wanted to wear them to the store:)

Happy Haunting...
Halloween was spent at home... we took the girls around The Uptown (a series of little stores, probably 50 stores, that goes around in a nice circle, that does Trick or Treating for the kids from 3-5pm) They got quite a bit of candy from there, but they were ready for more... We then went to the church for a little Harvest Festival, and Trunk or Treating.
Rhenley wanted to be a vampire this year... not a scary one, a pretty, nice one:) (Cousin Kendall was a scary vampire:)
Jodee & Jayda were the cutest little ladybugs ever (their cousin Peyton was a darn cute ladybug too:)

As a kid we always sorted our candy at the end of the night. This is a tradition that we'll carry on... the girls loved sorting their candy, seeing how much they had, and then putting it in their very own ziploc bags:)
Here's a cute picture of my adorable nephews, Alvin (Jakob), Simon (Mikah), and Theodore (Zakry) Great Job on the costumes Megan.:)
