Dayna- 9 months old

Dayna is 9 months old now, she eats lots of different "solid" foods now and loves to eat. She crawls all over the place, pulls herself up on things, stands alone, has started taking steps with help, she's attempted going up stairs (and fallen each time:( She pulls the movies off the rack, books off the shelf, and spends most of her time getting into things:)

Dayna's first park trip (atleast first time in a swing:) (We usually go to parks without swings, because I can't stand pushing the girls for long periods of time:)

Fall/Winter Just Between Friends

JBF in Spokane has become a tradition with my sisters, mom and I. This JBF was super fun and included my mom, my 2 sisters, 2 of my sister-in-laws, my dad, and two babies (Dayna & Ashlynn:) (Otherwise we were KIDLESS, and it was Awesome!:)
We found lots of treasures, each of my girls got 4 outfits, a toy, and a few books... time and money well spent!

I can't get over the amount of stuff that is brought in, it's so incredible... almost overwhelming:)

I wish they would do one in our area... maybe I'll look into that:) Can't wait til the spring!

Here are my little divas in their favorite outfits:) (They had to model them for me:)

"Anaconda, Squeeze"

We are so lucky to live down the street from both sets of parents... our girls love having their grandparents around, and love to play and be silly with them! Grandpa Ray & Grandma Jiggy brought us a DQ treat for FHE last week, the evening ended with Grandma getting the girls all riled up... Grandma had all 3 of them laughing to tears:)

Boulder Cave 2011

Boulder Cave is the place to go on Labor Day... we've gone with Lucas' family for the last 4 or 5 years now, but for some reason, this year it was super packed, there were LOTS of people. We had a great time hiking to and from the cave (it was so hot, I was dripping sweat by the time we reached the cave... partly due to the fact that we forgot the baby pack, so I ended up carrying Dayna all the way up and most of the way back... she was a little trooper:)

After hiking to the cave, we rested, ate yummy hot dogs, and then played an intense new game called KUBB (Luke saw a family playing this game at a park, looked it up on the internet, talked to his dad about it, and then his very talented dad made it:) We had a really nice time with the family!

The first week of school... It's all about the clothes:)

First Day of School Outfit:
(Now this is a peace sign:) LOVED this outfit!
2nd Day:
Rhen's favorite color changed last year to green... loved this outfit too:)
3rd Day:

4th Day:

1st Day of 2nd Grade

It's hard to believe our 1st born is in 2nd grade, sniff, sniff:) Rhenley was so excited for school to start, she laid her clothes out the night before, and gladly went to bed early. The next morning I made her a nice waffle & eggs breakfast, and made a yummy "cold" lunch (with an, upon request "mommy note" in it:)
It's not a peace sign, It's 2 fingers for 2nd Grade:) (A tradition Luke's family did when they were young, hold up the number of fingers for the grade you're going into, we love it:)
All the girls were excited for the first day of school... Jodee & Jayda can't wait to start Kindergarten next year:)
First day of school was great for Rhen, she wasn't nervous, went right into class, introduced herself to her teacher, and found her seat... she wasn't even bothered that she had to sit by two stinky boys!:) She was thrilled to see some of her friends from 1st grade, in her 2nd grade class. Her teacher was very nice, she got to go to library for specials, and at the end of the day she still had a smile on her face... Here's to another school year!:)
