The Oregon Trail...

To finish off their Oregon Trail unit, the kids walked about 3 miles, with wagons, and dressed in pioneer attire to get a feel for what it might have been like to be on the trail.
Every family had to carry a 5# flour sack baby :)
Penalties, like jumping jacks, for making the wrong choice at the check points :) (My group did really well… only made a few wrong choices:)

Leaving our names at Independence Rock

Some times the wagon had to be pulled with a kid in it… Rhenley had to pull the heaviest kid to the next check point, she was very tired:)

Such a great experience for the kids, I was super impressed with their positive attitudes… The teachers did such a nice job preparing this activity… one that the kids learned from and won't forget!

4th Grade Field trip...

We went to Fort Walla Walla and Whitman Mission for Rhen's 4th grade field trip...
 Selfies on the bus :)

Rhenley and her bestie, Kendall

Rhenley's Oregon Trail family, the Hoxie family!  We had a lot of fun with these kids!

The Carnival...

The girl's elementary school had their yearly carnival…. It was AWESOME!!
Lots of fun new games, prizes, and yummy food!

Grumpy clown made some fun balloon animals :)

Dayna loved the potty toss :)

This game has been at the school carnival since 1987 (I remember this from when I was in elementary school… It needed some serious TLC, it looks fabulous now :)

The girls had a blast!  Thanks to all the volunteers, especially Wendy Eller (who probably won't ever see this), her and her family did a TON of work on the games!  You guys Rock!

Dayna Christine..

This little girl is such a joy… We have so much fun together...

 She loves her blanky,
 Loves being silly,
Such a little poser, loves being girly, wearing skirts, and having her picture taken...

Dayna is my shopping buddy… We love going to Wallie World!  (Mainly for their popcorn chicken):)

The Piano...

We had a small keyboard that Jodee started playing one day.  Lucas told Jodee that if she practiced everyday for a week he would find her a piano teacher and a piano...

Well, she practiced every day… Lucas' Aunt is a piano teacher, and she happen to have an old piano laying around :)  Jodee's wish was granted!
THE MUSCLE :)

Jodee was pretty excited to have her own piano… I'm excited too… I think I'll try to teach myself how to play! :)

My 34th birthday… Awesome! :)

Yummy cherry pound cake made by my amazing visiting teacher: Annette

From Tessa & Darren :) Love it!

One of my best friends, Shaena Bright, love this girl!

On a sugar high and having fun with mustaches…lol

Zakry wearing the piƱata after it was destroyed, so fun!

Our Cinco de Mayo party couldn't be on the 5th of May, so we had it on the 10th of May… It was a Great party!  Lots of yummy food, family, friends and fun!
