No School Day...

On Veteran's Day, Richland High School did a mini cheer clinic for elementary school kids... Rhenley wanted to participate, she was so excited! They got a Junior Cheer shirt, snacks, pictures, and a few hours of learning cheers & chants!

After Rhenley's cheer camp, we went to Cooper's Corner with some friends from church & our Co-op preschool. Cooper's Corner is in our mall, it's a place where children learn traffic and bike safety. (Cooper's Corner is run by the police volunteers from the City of Kennewick. It was started by a family who's son was killed in a bike accident, or while crossing the street, I don't quite remember) Anyway, it was such a fun place for the kids! It's set up like a little town, they learn to follow traffic lights (riding around on these little scooter/bikes), to wait for the sign to cross the street. They also get to pretend to be police officers, firemen, doctors/nurses, teachers, and crossing guards.






The girls had so much fun, we'll definitely be going again!

Lucas' 31st Birthday...

Lucas celebrated his 31st birthday on November 13th... I love that my honey gives "classic" smiles and excitement for pictures:)

He also got a xbox game, xbox remote (which we love:), movie tickets to Harry Potter (from Megan & Robbie), clothes... He was defnitely spoiled:) (He deserved it:) Love you Hubs, hope you had a Great Birthday!:)

Halloween...

--Rhenley, The Gumball Machine (she won the "Most Original" costume award at Luke's friend's party:) She was adorable, I was pretty proud, it turned out cute!


--Jodee, The Little Witch (I wanted to make all the girls costumes this year, I found some really cute ideas from the family fun magazine...Jodee however, really wanted to be a witch this year, I'm not sure why:) Thankfully we found this cute witch costume and Walmart:)

-- Luke was a magician, and Jayda was his magic white rabbit.:)
I made the hat that Jayda's coming out of, I was pretty pleased with how it turned out... too cute:)


(Nothing too original from Pregnant me... I was just a Jack-O-Lantern... I think I'm cute though:)

The girls had a good time at Trunk or Treating at the church, they got tons of candy... we then went to a Halloween party and ate way too much food, cookies, and more candy. Plus Rhen won the costume prize... it was a Fun night!

It's a 1st Grade HOeDoWn...

This last week Rhenley and all the other 1st graders at her school had their "1st Grade Hoedown".

The 1st graders did 2 dances on their own, and then were asked to invite one family member to come dance with them... Rhenley chose her Grandma Jiggy (Luke's mom:)

TRip to The PUmpkin PaTCh...

Jodee & Jayda are in a co-op preschool with a few of the little girls from our ward. The girls love it! (I get to teach and have preschool at our house once a month... I miss teaching, so this has been so fun for me too:)

This last week for preschool we went to the pumpkin patch...

We took a little hay-ride out to the pumpkins, the girls had a great time, here's the hay-ride picture (the best of 4 pictures I took, somebody wasn't looking in each picture, or being silly in each picture) Silly girls!:)


Grandma Nea came to the patch too (Jodee & Jayda spent quite a bit of time looking for just the right pumpkin...)



The girls also had a fun time trying to get through the hay bale maze, and playing on the hay tower...





We all had a great time at the pumpkin patch!

Harvest Carnival from the Scriptures...

We had an amazing Primary Harvest Carnival this last Friday. We had a really good turn out, lots of teacher and parent involvement, and a few of our primary children took our challenge to invite non-member friends... it was such a fun night for everybody. I have to admit that I was a little exhausted by the end of the evening, but it was so worth all the preparation, and effort. Thanks to everyone who made the activity a success! (Especially my presidency, love you ladies!)


We encouraged the primary children to come as their favorite scripture hero... Rhenley's favorite scripture story is Daniel in the Lion's Den... so Lucas' sister Erikka helped me make costumes for the girls... Rhen is Daniel & Jodee/Jayda are the Lions... Pretty darn cute if you ask me:) (Thanks Erikka, I'm so glad you can sew! Good Times!:)

David & Goliath: Rhenley was so good at this game, she's really good with a sling shot (a lot of the boys were jealous:) It helped that she did have some practice before hand, the sling shot was hers:)

We also had "Service Hands" the kids got to make a candy corn/popcorn hand, and then write a letter to a son of one of our primary teachers who is currently in the Army.
