Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site...

in Downtown Atlanta was another place we visited. When you first walk up to the building there is a Civil Rights walk of fame, (with footprints of many people, here are a few I remembered: Rosa Parks, Magic Johnson, & Stevie Wonder) with a Ghandi statue at the end. (Ghandi was a true inspiration to Martin Luther King)




It was very humbling, and inspiring... I took pictures of a few of Martin Luther's quotes that I loved... he truly was an amazing person. Visiting the site made me want to read about him, find out more about him. (After we came home from our trip I actually looked up a few books on Half.com and added them to my wishlist:)
