We focused way more this year then in years past, on the reason we celebrate Easter...
So, before the girls got their easter baskets and goodies, we had the symbols of easter lesson, and talked about our Savior, Jesus Christ. We know that it is because of Jesus' atonement, that we can be forgiven of our sins, and it is because of his resurrection that we to can be resurrected after death, and be with our families and our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ forever. We know these things to be true, and are thankful for the seasons of the year to remind us of these things.
--While at Luke's grandpa's house, the kids and a few adults began singing primary songs about Jesus... It was a wonderful Easter!

Elementary School Carnival
Every year the elementary school has a family carnival, the girls were so excited about going this year... It was fun to see all the classic carnival games from 25 years ago when I went to the same elementary school:)
--The girls picked their lollipops at the same time, and they each won:) They were pretty excited:)

Even Miss Dayna had fun:) Amongst the 200 or so people there, she managed to sleep the entire time!:) (She looked so cute:)

Just between friends...
Wow, it's catch up time...
Part of Spring break was spent in Spokane with my mom, my sister's leslie & kyra, and their families. We had such a fun time staying up late talking and playing games. Let's just say, I ROCKUS at BLOKUS:)
We were there for Brenden's birthday party, which was spent at HOP the movie, and IHOP the restaurant.

We were also there for JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS, a HUGE children's consignment sale... we spent 4 hours looking through clothes, clothes, and more clothes. As well as toys, books, and other misc. items for kids.
I spent $200.01 (I wish I would have written down everything I got, but each girl got a toy, and then I came away with 3 large bags of spring/summer clothes, each girl probably had 12 items of clothing and 2 pairs of shoes... I was pretty pleased with our shopping adventure!:)
--Thanks to Kyra's hubby, Jake, we were the 2nd people in line... Jake was there early to save us a place in line, we got there when there were just a few people in line,...the line did get crazy, and wrapped around the building...so we were thankful for Jake:)

--Dayna was such a good baby... she had fun looking at clothes too:)
We were able to get babysitters for all the kids (except for Dayna, Ashlynn & Bronsen) It would have been madness had all the kids been with us... so thankful for the girls from Kyra's ward:)
--sorting through my stash, it was hard to put things back, but I did have a budget:)
--Dayna surrounded by our loot... all tuckered out after our shopping:)
We also hit up Spokane's Goodwill (which is awesome!) and found quite a few good deals, and fun treasures.
Thanks Jake & Kyra for letting us invade your house for a few days... we love you guys!

Rhenley's 7th Birthday...
We had 2 parties for Rhen this year, one with my family, one with Luke's family (our families are getting so big, and our house is so small, that we have to have a party with each family:) (The girls don't care, more parties, more fun)
(A few pictures from party #1)
(Party #2:)
(Awesome cake made by Luke's sister, Erikka:) Rhen loved it!

Hard to believe that our little Rhenster is 7, she is such a sweet girl. She is very funny, loves to read (reads chapter books well above her grade level), is starting to like sports (currently loves basketball, riding her bike, and hula hooping). She is very helpful with her little sisters, and loves doing the dishes for me:) Rhenley is also a natural artist (it's in her genes:), most days she can be found drawing or writing something, in one of her many notebooks:)
We love you Rhen, hope you had a Great Birthday!
