For some reason I forgot to post our New Year's Eve Party photos... so here they are.
We had a great party with family and friends, at Robbie & Megan's house:) (Luke's sister) Megan is quite the hostess, she had lots of food, pretty drinks, games, & decorations (a balloon drop and all:).

Our girls were little party animals, they stayed up all night, it was fun to have them with us. They love to party!
(It's a good thing we don't "drink" for real, my hubby would be an alcoholic:) Thanks for the fun Megan & Robbie! Here's the countdown and balloon drop... well done Meg!:)

Being Prepared...
So, with the new year comes resolutions to do better. We were given a very nice gift from Lucas' parents this Christmas. They gave us our family 72 hour kit. We were soooo excited! Being prepared is our goal this year.
I went to my ward's preparedness group tonight, and I'm soooo pumped to get prepared. My friends Sharon and Becca gave us some really good tips and ideas to get started.
My new favorite website: www.foodstoragemadeeasy.com
*Prepare Your Space
*Determine Your Budget
*Make a Plan (3 month menu with grocery list)
Thought I would just share... hope this gets some of you motivated as well:)
". . . Let us practice the principles of personal and family preparedness in our daily lives.

Happy Birthday Kiley!

My brother Daren's fiance April has two kiddos. Her daughter Kiley and Rhenley were friends before April & Daren got together. Anyway, Kiley's birthday was on the 27th. It was a roller skating party at Richland's "old school" Rollarena:) This was Rhenley's first time skating, she was soooo nervous, and didn't like skating at first. She eventually got the hang of it, with a little help from me and her grandparents.
It was fun for me and my sisters who were there as well, we reminisced about Roller skating parties when we were younger... the place still has the same smell... Good Times!
In the beginning... not too happy!
Finally Having a Good Time!:)

Christmas Day
We woke Christmas morning around 7:30... Jayda woke us up:) It was so fun to see the girls faces, and watch them open their presents. Jayda tore into the presents like a pro. Jodee was a little more careful, she didn't want to tear the paper. Rhenley knew what she was doing this year, she claims it was the Best Christmas of her entire life.:)
We were very blessed this year, Lucas got a nice Christmas bonus, we were able to buy the girls the presents they really wanted. We were also able to get our parents, siblings, and nieces/nephews some nice presents as well.

Christmas Eve at My Parent's House...
Christmas Eve this year was spent at my mom & dad's house. It was quite the full house, my parents, grandma T., and all my siblings and their families were able to be there. Daren & his fiance April. Leslie, Matt, and their kids Kendall & Peyton. Kyra, Jake, and their kids Brenden & Bronsen. Me, Lucas, and our girls, and my little brother Keith.
We had yummy snacks, a little talent show/christmas program, and everyone got new PJs. (The new PJs is a great tradition, we've gotten new PJs every Christmas Eve since I was a little girl.:)
Our very talented kids singing "Once there was a Snowman", actions and all:)

"Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman, Once there was a snowman, Tall, Tall, Tall..." "In the sun he melted, melted, melted, In the sun he melted, Small, Small, Small."
Uncle Keith reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" (The Twins love this story:)

The Nativity Story with hand puppets. (Thanks for being "the star" Uncle Daren:)
We had a really nice Christmas Eve, hope you all did as well!

The Ward Christmas Party
We had our ward party last night (Friday the 19th). It was quite enjoyable: Good Food, Good Friends/Family, and Good Fun:)

The Girls got to see Santa, and Rhenley made sure to tell him that she wanted a "Princess Chair", and a "Barbie Doll House" (two new additions to her very long list:)

The food was good, the girls really liked it: Turkey, Potatoes, Rolls, Beans & Corn.... and a variety of yummy desserts.
Here's Rhenley enjoying her potato:)
We had a program, but my pictures didn't turn out very well. We sang some songs, and watched the Nativity Story reenactment.
Happy Holidays!

Bronsen Boyd Stolworthy

My little sister Kyra had her first baby today. After almost 24 hours of labor, 2 Epidurals, and 1 1/2 hours of pushing, Bronsen made his way into the world. (He had to be sucked out, but he came:) Way to go little sister, we're so proud of you!

Bronsen Boyd Stolworthy, 9lbs.8oz, 20 3/4inches long, nice oblong head (thanks to the vacuum:), He's a beautiful baby, looks a lot like his mommy:)

Thanksgiving at Diamond Lake

Thanksgiving this year was spent with Lucas' family. We went to Diamond Lake, (about 30mins south of Spokane, WA), and rented a cabin. It was so nice to be there together. We had fun playing games, eating food, and just spending time with each other.

The kids made these cute Turkey place-mats for the feast!
CHOW TIME!
Rhenley had fun playing with her cousin Jakob (who is quite the character...as you can see:) Aunt Abby made a turkey pinata for the kids...here's Jayda taking a swing.
