Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree...

"I looked out the window and what did I see, popcorn popping on the apricot tree. Spring has brought me such a nice surprise, popcorn popping right before my eyes. I can take an armful and make a treat. A popcorn ball that would smell so sweet. It wasn't really so, but it seemed to me, popcorn popping on the apricot tree."

I LOVE SPRING! Here are the first blossoms from my parent's apricot tree:) They really do look like popcorn, and smell so sweet:)

Easter Sunday cont...

Easter Sunday was spent with Lucas' family. (Sometimes it's difficult having both of our families in the same city:) We take turns with holidays the best we can:) Saturday was spent with my family, Sunday was spent with Lucas' family.

We had an awesome dinner at Grandma & Grandpa Gripentog's house. (I won't need to eat for a week:) Ham, green bean casserole, "pink stuff", rice, rolls, & bunny cake. (Every year Aunt Naomi makes a cake that looks like a bunny, very cute and very yummy:)

After we were stuffed, we had the easter egg hunt for the little kids, and a scavenger hunt for the "big kids" (it's been tradition for years, Lucas' Aunt Lizzy creates a scavenger hunt for the adults:) And for the last 3 years Lucas' team has won (usually cheating to win:) This year however, my team won...it's a good feeling to win:) The treasure at the end is stuffed animals for the kids, and candy for the adults.

We had a very nice Easter weekend, hope you all did as well!

Easter Sunday...

Here are our Beautiful girls! Rhenley & Jodee love pictures.
(Jayda was a crabby patty...she didn't want her picture taken, but I took this priceless picture anyway. Later she was happier, but still no smile...stinker:)

Eggstravaganza!!!

Saturday we had an Easter Egg hunt, and dinner @ Grandma Nea & Grandpa Bob's house. We decorated easter eggs with our new egg spinner, and tried to dye easter eggs...this was an adventure with little kids. (I'm sure those of you with little kids as well, can relate to the egg dying adventure:) After decorating eggs we had an egg hunt. Grandma Nea and Uncle Keith hid the eggs very well...some of them were hid too well, even for the adults:) Good Times!
Rhenley got a basket full of eggs, the twins didn't really care...I found them each an egg, and they were content sitting in the grass watching their sister and cousin Brenden run around:)
For dinner we ate burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, oriental salad, chips, pop, & Strawberry shortcake...the works! Good Food, Good Fun!

Rub My Belly For Good Luck!!

My Lucky Charms: Auntie Kyra found these shirts for the girls, and they are so appropriate...
Rhenley is always asking for someone to "Rub my belly, Tickle my belly...":) My girls all have little buddha bellies:)

Rhen's Party...

Some of Rhenley's favorite presents: Disney Princess CD player/Jewelry Box, Princess Clock (From Mommy & Daddy)
Strawberry Shortcake Doll (from Eric & Nicole Switzer). And Rhen got lots of nice clothes from ALL her Grandparents:)
Thanks Everybody!!!

"Where a Kid Can Be a Kid!"

We had Rhenley's party at Chuck E Cheese this year. 4 reasons for choosing Chuck E Cheese:
1) Chuck E Cheese is a Fun place, you can't help but have fun there:)
2) Chuck E Cheese is big enough for my family, Lucas' family, and our friends. Our house just won't hold that many people:)
3) Pizza, tokens, games, & prizes...Good Times!!!
4) You Don't have to clean up after the party:)

Who was there: Grandma Nea, Grandpa Bob, G. Grandma T., Grandma Jiggy, Grandpa Ray, Aunt Erikka, Aunt Megan, Cousins: Jakob, Mikah, Zakry, Aunt Kyra, Uncle Jake, Cousin Brenden, Uncle Keith, Uncle Daren, Aunt Abby, Uncle Kory, Cousins: Angela & Elliott. Friends: Mary, Andrew, & Joel Mcmann, Nicole, Eric, Skyler, & Skylar Switzer.
Can't forget, Mommy, Daddy, Jodee & Jayda:)

The party was great fun! We ate pizza, played games, opened LOTS of presents (Rhenley was very spoiled:), and had yummy DQ Ice cream cake! The party was from 5:30-about 9:00pm, talk about Party Animals! It was a great party!

Rhenley is 4 Today! St Patrick's Day...

St. Patrick's Day started with a green breakfast. Last year I made green eggs & green pancakes for Rhen. This year she just wanted cereal...you can't tell very well from the picture, but I made the milk green...Yum:)
