Headin' Home...

 Shopping @ the Outlet Mall...

 Visiting Vista House...

 Multanomah Falls...

It was fun having our niece Kendall with us on the way home, the girls loved our adventures!  We had an amazing family reunion and trip to Oregon!

Portland Children's Museum

One day of the reunion we went to the Children's Museum, we were there for a few hours, and the kids probably would have spent several more hours... it was super hands on, and a lot of fun for the girls.

Seaside, OR

The lodge was about 1hr 1/2 away from the beach, so, we spent just 1 day at the beach... the girls had such a blast, and didn't want to leave. (This is their 2nd trip to the beach, but they were so little the first time they don't really remember it.) They all loved playing in the water and the sand, and were covered in it from head to toe:)

We had such a good time with our family! I love my sisters and my mom, so glad they got to be at the reunion too!

Next year, we're taking a family vacation, and going to spend lots of time at the beach. It was such a FUN day!!

Fun with Family

Just hanging out at the lodge...

Swallow Family Reunion, Hillsboro Oregon

My mom's family had their reunion at the Oregon Coast this year. We stayed in a super nice lodge in Hillsboro, it was big enough for all 50 of us:)

The view from the porch...

This is the room my family stayed in (it was big enough for Luke and I, Dayna, my parents, Kyra & Jake, Ashlynn & Bronsen... there was this queen bed for my parents, and we moved two hide-a-beds in for the rest of us:)
I wish I would have taken more pictures of this place, it was GORGEOUS!

Happy 80th Birthday!

Luke's Grandpa Gripentog turned 80 years old this summer, and we had a BIG surprise party for him! 80 years is a long time to be alive, we love Grandpa G., he's such a wonderful man, so loving, inviting, and would do anything for anybody!

Silly Dayna:)
Silly Grandpa Ray getting in the way of our picture...

Happy 80th Grandpa, here's to many more years:)

Steven's family camping...

The summer started off with camping @ Emigrant Springs... We LOVE going here with Luke's family, we always have such a great time!

This year, on the way to the camp ground, we stopped at the Pendelton, OR water park... super fun, and affordable, we all had a really good time!

Camping was a blast... as the kids get older, it's more fun for them, to roam the forest and we don't have to worry too much about them:) We had beautiful weather, yummy food, fun crafts (courtesy of Aunt Megan), and just all around good times!

Luke's mom and I made some super cute camp buckets for the kids (something to sit on, as well as store their camping crafts & treasures in), they turned out, I loved them... the kids loved them too!

Happy Father's Day

The next few posts will be a little out of order, but I forgot a few events...

Starting with Daddy's Day... can't forget that day! Lucas is the best dad, our girls just adore him.

They have a lot of fun together playing games, xbox included:), doing daddy's hair, singing songs, watching Dr. Who and other shows... the girls just love their daddy-o!
Couldn't resist the tshirt for Luke- DADD (Dad's Against Daughters Dating) :)

Happy 10th Anniversary Babe!

Lucas and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on 7-11 (we share an anniversary with 7-11, and get slurpees every year:) The gift for 10th anniversary is "Tin" or "Aluminum", Lucas got me some fun tins... with crayons & stamps for crafting...LOVED it! I got Luke an aluminum wallet & tin water bottle.
We went out to eat at Monterosso's, this fun little italian restaurant in an old train car... I've always wanted to eat there, so we went for the big decade anniversary:) We weren't disappointed either, the food was delicious!
We then went to the park and played I-Spy (which was one of our first dates Lucas took me on), and then we played an M&M/Car game (which was a date Lucas had planned back in the day and we didn't play it), It was fun to reminisce and play some "first date" games. It was probably 1,000 degrees outside, so the date wasn't as long as we would have liked, but, it was still amazing. It's so wonderful to be married to my best friend!!

Swim Team...

Rhenley joined the swim team this year at our pool... she was a little nervous, but mostly excited! It's so fun to watch her get better and better at swimming. Her favorite stroke is the crawl stroke (freestyle), and the breaststroke. She does the butterfly surprisingly well, but it's a tough stroke, so Rhen doesn't "love" it:)

Here are some picts of her 1st Swim Meet... Rhen swam the butterfly, freestyle, breaststroke and 2 relays.

So Proud of this girl... got a little teary when she swam her first race:)

And a few picts of her 3rd meet... pretty crazy at times, lots of kids everywhere, but lots of FUN too:)
