Here are just a few pictures from our gift exchange with our families... we had a Great Christmas, we were very spoiled by our family.:)
(From my family)
My parents got the girls Pillow Pets, which the girls were so thrilled about:) (Rhen got the dog, Jodee the bumblebee, and Jayda the ladybug)
Rhenley got "Diary of a Whimpy Kid" (2 books and the movie) from her cousin Peyton.
Lucas got an air-soft gun, and Hooters oven mit/bbq set from my sister, Kyra.
I've wanted this SceneIt Game for the XBox forever, and my brother Keith got it for me, I was pretty excited!:)
(From Luke's Family)
Lucas' sisters were all very crafty this year, we got lots of nice handmade gifts...
The girls favorite gift was from their Auntie Tessa, she made super cute bags for the girls to take to church, they couldn't wait to go to church on Sunday so they could take their bags:)

Tessa made me a super cute birthday board (I'm practically laughing in this picture because it was ridiculous to get someone to take the picture, the girls tried, then Luke's mom took it upside down... it was pretty funny)
Erikka made me a very cute purse/bag that I Love, once again, the picture was taken by a child, so it's a little ridiculous:)
Megan made me some really cute "Snowman" blocks (I love and collect Snowmen)

Erikka made Lucas the hat that he's sporting in this picture... Awesome!:)
We hope everyone had an amazing holiday season! We are so thankful to have family around to share the holidays with!

Christmas morning
The girls went right to sleep Christmas Eve, they were so excited for Christmas morning. For being so excited, we had to wake them up, they slept til 8pm (which is funny because, Jodee, every other day of her life is awake between 7 and 7:30:)
-- What did Santa bring?:)
We were very blessed this year, here are a few of our favorite things from Christmas:)

Rhenley was thrilled to get her very own sewing machine... she is super excited to start sewing lessons with Luke's mom, Grandma Jiggy, this next week:)
--Lucas was so excited for his "Scent Circle" from Scentsy, "My Dear Watson" is the scent... so good;)
--Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, super excited for this book. Thanks Honey!
-- Luke was also thrilled for his "Jack Bauer" bag... he doesn't leave home without it:)
--YARD SALE game for my DS... so Awesome!

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve this year was spent with my side of the family. We spent the afternoon in Zillah with 2 of my mom's brothers and their families. Christmas Eve evening was spent at my parent's house. (Most of Christmas Eve for me, was filled with contractions, and the anticipation of the new baby that was coming to our family:) I was so thankful that baby Dayna didn't come til after Christmas... selfishly I didn't want to miss any of the Christmas festivities. I didn't want to miss Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my girls and hubby, (my prayers were answered:)
While in Zillah we ate, played games, and visited... it was a Good Time!
--Many of the mom's and kids played BINGO
--My mom bought prizes for all the kids, Jodee got the first BINGO, she was pretty excited:)
Rhenley & her cousin Brenden playing a "BIG" game of checkers:)
While we played BINGO, the men played Dodgeball... it was pretty intense...

Christmas Eve evening Rhenley read "The Night Before Christmas", all by herself:) Then my brother Keith and the kids did the nativity story for us. We are so thankful for the birth of our Savior, what a special time of year when we get to focus on his birth and life. Our girls love the story of Jesus' birth, and singing songs like, "When Joseph Went to Bethlehem", and "Picture a Christmas."

Family tradition since I was a little kid, New Pajamas:) The girls had to close their eyes (Jayda really didn't want to peek, she had her eyes closed so tight:)

Fun in the Snow
We've had quite a bit of snow the last few months, one of the last snow days we (me and the girls, plus their friend Hannah-Banana) got together with Grandma Nea and made a cute little snowman.

The girls had so much fun making snow angels, making a snowman that was just their size (which they named Frosty:), and then having a hot chocolate tea party with grandma's "breakable" tea set.

I'm not a huge fan of snow, mostly because it's cold and I don't like being cold, but the girls sure love the stuff! Thanks Grandma Nea for the fun!

Thanksgiving at Curlew Lake
Thanksgiving this year was Wonderful! We had such a fun time with Luke's family (Mom & Dad, all siblings, their spouses, and children were able to come:) We rented a house that overlooked Curlew Lake. "The Spirit of Curlew Lake", it was a beautiful house, lots of space for everyone... 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, laundry room, and space for the kids to run around and be crazy:) We were there for 3 nights and 4 days, it was really nice to get away, the girls had such a great time with their cousins!

--Making sugar cookies with the cousins & Auntie Abby, the girls loved this!
--Lucas & Kory playing a little XBOX... the brothers & brother-in-laws made their own little private game room in one of the walk in closets... silly boys!
YUMMY food (totally didn't get a picture of the beautifully cooked, super moist turkey:)
--Cute table decor by my very talented & "Martha Stewartish" sister-in-laws:)

--Enjoying The Feast...
--Cheers! (The girls thought the sparkling cider, and their little goblets were pretty special:)
--It snowed most of the time we were there, the girls were so excited to play in it! Grandpa & Uncle Kory braved the snow with them... they had SNoW much FuN!

Our family is the best! We always enjoy our time with them, good food, good conversation, fun crafts, games, and just being together! It was a GREAT Thanksgiving! Thanks to Luke's sisters for making it extra special for us and the kids!
